The audience was convinced that Dietrich Beuschlein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. The TSV Trudering fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when TSV Trudering's Dietrich Beuschlein looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. TSV Trudering's Frederick Böhmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Trudering from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, TSV Trudering's goalkeeper Frederick Böhmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 15th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frederick Böhmer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 21st play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Frederick Böhmer. 1-1. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Frederick Böhmer in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Lothar Pfirrmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lothar Pfirrmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Frederick Böhmer made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Jose Manzanedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Dietrich Beuschlein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Frederick Böhmer in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Chile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TSV Trudering were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dietrich Beuschlein to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dietrich Beuschlein in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederick Böhmer. TSV Trudering's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 58 minutes into the game, Otto Cabanis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Alan Tamayo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Frederick Böhmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Trudering's Frederick Böhmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lothar Pfirrmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederick Böhmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Frederick Böhmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. In the 76th minute of the match, Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pliego was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dietrich Beuschlein got in the 77th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Thiago Pliego handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Frederick Böhmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Böhmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TSV Trudering's Pascal Busch was substituted for Dietrich Beuschlein. Mariano Lacasa made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that TSV Trudering's Frederick Böhmer managed to reach the ball for a save. The attack was good, but when Xavier Figueroa in the 86th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
