Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Beşir Şahdar got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Beşir Şahdar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beşir Şahdar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Turgay Habiboğlu was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 19th minute, Beşir Şahdar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Turco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The El Turco fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when El Turco's Beşir Şahdar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ecuador booed when El Turco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turgay Habiboğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 37 minute of play. Alan Van Beets took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beşir Şahdar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Suarez. In the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Beşir Şahdar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After having played for 82 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beşir Şahdar in the 85th minute of play. When Beşir Şahdar fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Turco's protests and gave Beşir Şahdar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of El Turco booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Turgay Habiboğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
