When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A Sandvig G's goalie prevented a goal. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Wictor Maiborg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Holritz in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janich Hvalsøe in the 14th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play forced A Sandvig G's goalkeeper Wictor Maiborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when A Sandvig G was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Kyndlev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wictor Maiborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. A Sandvig G's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Lautaro Mancebo sped through A Sandvig G's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wictor Maiborg. Wictor Maiborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes A Sandvig G got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Mørkholt. After some careless play in the A Sandvig G defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wictor Maiborg. The A Sandvig G fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wictor Maiborg should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stuart Holritz's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Wictor Maiborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. A collision led to A Sandvig G getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Joseph Kyndlev hit a great ball. The A Sandvig G players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wictor Maiborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla scored 1-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wictor Maiborg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in A Sandvig G's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Maiborg came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennarth Foxø, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Wictor Maiborg however easily saved by the left post. Wictor Maiborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 68th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Luca Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wictor Maiborg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 79 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wictor Maiborg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Wictor Maiborg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 82nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Maiborg having to interfere. Mexico played a much better game than A Sandvig G and deserved their victory. The A Sandvig G players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
