Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kyle Davies took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. Nikolas Karkamanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Owen in the 16th minute of the match. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iakovos Papafotopoulos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Kyle Davies hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iakovos Papafotopoulos in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Troy Kennedy got a free kick in the 24th minute. Iakovos Papafotopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. The supporters of Curacao booed when Atletico de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Papapanagiotou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico de Madrid's Iakovos Papafotopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanasis Vamvoukas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Iakovos Papafotopoulos sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. In the 49th minute Iakovos Papafotopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Iakovos Papafotopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thanasis Vamvoukas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanasis Vamvoukas in the 56th minute of the match. When Panos Spyroulis fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico de Madrid's protests and gave Panos Spyroulis a yellow card for diving instead. Panos Spyroulis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With his leg Bruno Barrett managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Atletico de Madrid's Iakovos Papafotopoulos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Iakovos Papafotopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dimitris Maros scored 0-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Maros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Vamvoukas came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Maros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Iakovos Papafotopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Atletico de Madrid played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
