Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FataMorgana's Cosimo Cesare started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Caneva in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Davide Causio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FataMorgana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Davide Causio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FataMorgana's Cosimo Cesare. But to his dismay, Cosimo Cesare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alvise Biagetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, FataMorgana's Fedele De Michele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele De Michele in the 32nd minute of the match. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the FataMorgana players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Fedele De Michele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fedele De Michele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FataMorgana made a substitution. Alberto Ottavi replaced Alvise Biagetti. After the first half FataMorgana were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alberto Ottavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 61st minute of play forced FataMorgana's goalkeeper Attilio Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Cosimo Cesare dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 0-5. After 68 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Cosimo Cesare capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cosimo Cesare really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. After 72 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. 75 minutes into the game, Cosimo Cesare recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Cosimo Cesare showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 79th minute, Cosimo Cesare fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 81 minutes into the match, Cosimo Cesare notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele De Michele in the 88th minute of the match. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Fedele De Michele capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fedele De Michele really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. After a rather tough play, FataMorgana's Bianco Zulli got a free kick in the 98th minute. FataMorgana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
