Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Svatomír Krajíček ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Pardubice Hurricanes's corner Svatomír Krajíček fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Vítek Bittner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Rubáš blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Vítek Bittner put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítek Bittner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Pardubice Hurricanes's Vítek Bittner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Radoslav Plašil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítek Bittner, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítek Bittner in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Vítek Bittner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pardubice Hurricanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of play forced Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Pardubice Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Molnár to maneuver through the defense. Pardubice Hurricanes made a substitution. Jiří Rychtář replaced Vítek Bittner. A collision led to Pardubice Hurricanes getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jakub Molnár hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Pardubice Hurricanes's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Přemek Ouředník reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jonathan Venegas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pardubice Hurricanes's Přemek Ouředník did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Rychtář, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiří Rychtář took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 80 minutes in the game Yağız Delfin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Svatomír Krajíček. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ulryk Gargasz lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 86th minute, one of Pardubice Hurricanes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pardubice Hurricanes. Přemek Ouředník had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Radoslav Plašil might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radoslav Plašil ran back to his position shaking his head. Yağız Delfin's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yağız Delfin helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes Pardubice Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Yağız Delfin. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pardubice Hurricanes had won after a very even match.
