The FC Maliğin Adamları fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 18th minute of play forced FC Maliğin Adamları's goalkeeper Robustiano Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Eliseo Noboa in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Maliğin Adamları's Tristan Schmitz. When Tristan Schmitz fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Maliğin Adamları's protests and gave Tristan Schmitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, FC Maliğin Adamları was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Schmitz to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Napier in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. In the 37th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when FC Maliğin Adamları was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Kühnhackl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Napier came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazhar Falcıoğlu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Schlim in the 66th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 70 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Perry Hansen who took care of the corner kick. Mazhar Falcıoğlu made a great header on FC Maliğin Adamları's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. 73 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Kühnhackl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Maliğin Adamları's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. FC Maliğin Adamları's Tristan Schmitz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Robustiano Mitxel made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eliseo Noboa sent off a good shot on target. FC Maliğin Adamları's attentive Reynaldo Napier managed to snatch the ball when Lautaro Puig made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. 92 minutes into the game, Mazhar Falcıoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maliğin Adamları's Mazhar Falcıoğlu. But to his dismay, Mazhar Falcıoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. There was no doubt that FC Maliğin Adamları were the better team. FC Maliğin Adamları's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
