The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítek Bittner to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Přemek Ouředník however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pardubice Hurricanes's Radoslav Plašil shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Přemek Ouředník made a huge save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslav Plašil, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Přemek Ouředník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svatomír Krajíček didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslav Plašil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Přemek Ouředník made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Rychtář in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
