The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Julian Murillo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 18 minutes into the match. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rusty Atkin could save by the left post. In the 24th minute Endel Jaanus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuur Deville in the 26th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauno Sappinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Tuur Deville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Mehmet Fatih Talaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuur Deville took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Moises Gayoso made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SK Monkey Business's Răzvan Strungă. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. SK Monkey Business's Rusty Atkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Fraga. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rauno Sappinen in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusty Atkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 61st minute of play forced SK Monkey Business's goalkeeper Rusty Atkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the SK Monkey Business defense, Eliseo Mina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rusty Atkin. The SK Monkey Business fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rusty Atkin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 67th minute of play forced SK Monkey Business's goalkeeper Rusty Atkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Rauno Sappinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Răzvan Strungă made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Răzvan Strungă hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The referee showed Răzvan Strungă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SK Monkey Business's Răzvan Strungă got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
