Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Dhaussy in the 5th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Alzamendi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Antonio Alzamendi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Linus Resentvig put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Phillip Glerum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. When Guillermo Mariano fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. After 20th play minutes Antonio Alzamendi shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Resentvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Peter-Jan De Brouwer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Saco FC's Antonio Alzamendi. But to his dismay, Antonio Alzamendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Resentvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Resentvig came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Linus Resentvig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Resentvig in the 45th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Saco FC's Peter-Jan De Brouwer got a free kick in the 50th minute. Antonio Alzamendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Alzamendi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saco FC. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phillip Glerum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Chris Dhaussy made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 78th minute, Linus Resentvig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Linus Resentvig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Linus Resentvig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Alzamendi didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-8 via right post in the game's 87th minute. Saco FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Linus Resentvig was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Saco FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Resentvig in the 96th minute of play.
