Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) 6 minutes into the match, Rene Rostholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Rostholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Rene Rostholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Rene Rostholm struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Randers A.F.C.. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Rene Rostholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. When Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Rene Rostholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Randers A.F.C.'s Nik Frisendal. But to his dismay, Nik Frisendal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Rostholm went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rene Rostholm 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. Rene Rostholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Rostholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Rostholm's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nik Frisendal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 6-0 in the 45 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rene Rostholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rene Rostholm made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Eliseo Noboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nichlas Vesterdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Rostholm went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Rostholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rene Rostholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Børge Buhr who took care of the corner kick. Randers A.F.C.'s Børge Buhr was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Randers A.F.C.'s Benjamin Vollmaris. Rene Rostholm struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Randers A.F.C.. 79 minutes into the game, Randers A.F.C.'s Bruno Steenbeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. 82 minutes into the match, Bruno Steenbeck notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Bruno Steenbeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Steenbeck in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Randers A.F.C.'s Bruno Steenbeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Steenbeck in the 93rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Bruno Steenbeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Randers A.F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Randers A.F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
