The referee showed Pedro Indiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomás Vollmar missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Thiago Pliego right hand side. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 唐沙旭 in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, 唐沙旭 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 61 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's 唐沙旭 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 唐沙旭 might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 唐沙旭 ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 唐沙旭 in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Orlando Casaus could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Remus Pinches however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Ovidiu Epure got a free kick in the 90th minute. Mariano Lacasa got in the 90th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Remus Pinches and thus it was 3-1. Many of Chile's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chile may have spent more time on the ball, but Diablos Rojos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
