They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

ALASKU TSG's Francisco Barrionuevo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save ALASKU TSG from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tunç Akkaya in the 56th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akif Akın in the 60th minute of play. When Tunç Akkaya fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALASKU TSG's protests and gave Tunç Akkaya a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ALASKU TSG getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Tunç Akkaya hit a great ball. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Francisco Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francisco Barrionuevo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Güntekin Koca kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Francisco Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target.
