To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartlomiej Kwinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Halim Kortan got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Su Čuk. Bartlomiej Kwinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızhan Yurdaşen in the 25th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güney Tuğyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Yağızhan Yurdaşen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yağızhan Yurdaşen really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0.
