Prudencio Ferdinand scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustin Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Prudencio Ferdinand took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Orlando Casaus led 27 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's Agustin Goyo became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. The supporters of Chile booed when ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Prudencio Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute of the game Victorino Lleir made a throw-in which Prudencio Ferdinand played forward. After the first half ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Falkiewicz in the 89th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Xavier Figueroa threw the ball into play from the sideline. ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's Haroldo Erramu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chile's much stronger midfield.
