After 9 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélio O'Connell was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Zarillo. Hélio O'Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Zarillo in the 26th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 43rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off.
