Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Gregorio Tirso sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Tirso. In the 19thth minute of the game Rodrigo Ferdinand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boquenses were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Sancho took the corner. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Julian Murillo sped through Boquenses's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobias Osoro. The Boquenses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Osoro should have stopped the shot. Tobias Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of the match. Tobias Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Boquenses getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gregorio Tirso hit a great ball. If Nicolas Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 56th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Teobaldo Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Oier in the 67th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Teobaldo Oier put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tobias Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Boquenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Osoro was a little too slow when Julian Murillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 3-4. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Tobias Osoro made a huge save. In the 84th minute Gregorio Tirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru made a substitution.
