Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Argoitz in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renato Portalupi made a kick off. Chester Bennington's Renato Portalupi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 62 minutes into the match, Artemio Argoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Argoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Francisco Seco fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Francisco Seco a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes, Chester Bennington's Erik Bern shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chester Bennington's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
