Vrasidas Panaretos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Shao Ting Xing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the last second Jonathan Ferrant throw himself and got hold of the ball when Shao Ting Xing in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Shao Ting Xing in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Shao Ting Xing took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Gris Maffian's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vrasidas Panaretos came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gris Maffian booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Vincent Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gris Maffian's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 50th match minute, Gris Maffian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Engman to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Shao Ting Xing made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Gris Maffian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Vrasidas Panaretos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. When Gris Maffian's Shao Ting Xing in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The Gris Maffian fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Gris Maffian's Shao Ting Xing looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Shao Ting Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gris Maffian's Gottfrid Larsson got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute Bertil Simonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vrasidas Panaretos having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Shao Ting Xing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1.
