Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mózes Bartha in the 7th minute of the match. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Szombathelyi Haladás's Mózes Bartha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Endre Tóth kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Mózes Bartha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mózes Bartha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andor Mester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Andor Mester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andor Mester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Uruguay were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mózes Bartha to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Szombathelyi Haladás were awarded a corner. Mózes Bartha went to the cornerflag to take it. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mózes Bartha's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Andor Mester to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
