Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miroslav Šípka took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepito Santandres in the 3rd minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepito Santandres in the 6th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Šípka in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dávid Čiliak. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivan Makaj kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 21st minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Šípka in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pepito Santandres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Petrek, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Burning Angels's Ivan Makaj ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Miroslav Šípka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Makaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Pepito Santandres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Burning Angels's Ivan Makaj. But to his dismay, Ivan Makaj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Šípka in the 80th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Šípka in the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Miroslav Šípka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burning Angels's supporters rose to their feet, but Miroslav Šípka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Modesto Barto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Lajos Miško came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
