After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. In the 42nd minute 彭德源 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes 肖广远 rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 肖广远 was the one to do the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 肖广远 in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 57th minute.
