Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Kröll BK's goalkeeper Sebastián Trejos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastián Trejos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sebastián Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Sebastián Trejos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Cardozo in the 17th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kröll BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edu Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Edu Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Sebastián Trejos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 27th minute of the match, Edu Cardozo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sebastián Trejos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Trejos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kröll BK's goalkeeper Sebastián Trejos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastián Trejos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Kröll BK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastián Trejos came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Primitivo Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Kröll BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Félix. The Kröll BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edu Cardozo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sebastián Trejos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 55 minutes into the match, Kröll BK's goalkeeper Sebastián Trejos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastián Trejos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Kröll BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Kollberg to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Kröll BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastián Trejos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 67th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Kröll BK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastián Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Kröll BK's Sebastián Trejos got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sebastián Trejos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kröll BK's Georg Örnberg was substituted for Pepito Arrelucea. Sebastián Trejos made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kröll BK's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Sebastián Trejos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Kröll BK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Eric Bergström hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Edu Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Edu Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kröll BK throughout the match.
