Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Elliott Levander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 10th minute of play forced Leeds United FC's goalkeeper Elliott Levander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Leeds United FC got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Larsfelt. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Börje Lindsten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. After 26 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. After 31 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliott Levander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 43 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kennet Bergqvist. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aaron Kvist made the kick off in the second half. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Leeds United FC's Stig Rosen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Kvist in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Leeds United FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tommy Lönn hit a great ball. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leeds United FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Aaron Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Aaron Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Kvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Leeds United FC's goalkeeper Elliott Levander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Alcocer. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Levander having to interfere. During the 82nd minute of the match Lautaro Puig completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 83rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Elliott Levander made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Aaron Alcocer sent off a good shot on target. Börje Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Kvist in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Kvist in the 91st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, Leeds United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink to maneuver through the defense.
