Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edu Cardozo kicked off to start the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Kröll BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Kröll BK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sebastián Trejos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Kröll BK's Sebastián Trejos managed to reach the ball for a save. Sebastián Trejos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Kröll BK's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Sebastián Trejos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Kröll BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastián Trejos quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastián Trejos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kröll BK's Sebastián Trejos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Cardozo in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes, Patrik Kollberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kröll BK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kröll BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kröll BK's Sebastián Trejos. 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastián Trejos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 57th minute Kröll BK were awarded a corner. Victor Félix went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Kröll BK's Sebastián Trejos got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastián Trejos made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sebastián Trejos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Vennerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Kröll BK's goalkeeper Sebastián Trejos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 82 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastián Trejos, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Cardozo in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Trejos was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Luis Andino took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Sebastián Trejos to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kröll BK.
