The audience was convinced that Pastor Sagrario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Miguel Lesardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Miguel Lesardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elite Azulgrana's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
