Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, José Paulo Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and José Paulo Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th match minute, Retumbante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Mota to maneuver through the defense. Apat Reina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Mendonça came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Mendonça came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apat Reina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play. Fabinho Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 36th minute. Retumbante FC's Kauã Mandrak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dante Lacasa but with some difficulty. The Retumbante FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

Retumbante FC made a substitution. Jarbas Dantas replaced Basílio Cearense. The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Apat Reina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd minute of the match. Apat Reina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Retumbante FC's Kauã Mandrak got a free kick in the 61st minute. Apat Reina made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Joel Gaona in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kauã Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apat Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 73rd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apat Reina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. José Paulo Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
