Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pastor Sagrario made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Ondino having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Ondino. Elite Azulgrana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Elite Azulgrana's Pastor Sagrario got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Elite Azulgrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. After 17 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Ondino was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play forced Elite Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dionisio Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match, Pastor Sagrario got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced Elite Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dionisio Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Ondino. Elite Azulgrana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Dionisio Ondino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Elite Azulgrana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mauro Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Sagrario's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 39 minutes, Pastor Sagrario made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Matos in the 41st minute of play. Pastor Sagrarios short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Aureliano Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Elite Azulgrana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Elite Azulgrana's Mauro Matos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dionisio Ondino came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dionisio Ondino. Dionisio Ondino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Elite Azulgrana's Dionisio Ondino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dionisio Ondino could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 78th minute. Dionisio Ondino made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Elite Azulgrana's Mauro Matos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Matos in the 86th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Elite Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Matos. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Sagrario in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Elite Azulgrana.
