In the 11th minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valverde United's Joaquim Barbosa didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play forced Valverde United's goalkeeper Joaquim Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Anıl Arda Ünlüer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the last second Jonathan Ferrant throw himself and got hold of the ball when Anıl Arda Ünlüer in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, 周迅然 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valverde United's Anıl Arda Ünlüer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. 34 minutes into the game, Alex Hoeybroeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valverde United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Alex Hoeybroeck kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Valverde United's Teófilo Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. Valverde United's Joaquim Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of play. Alex Hoeybroeck got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by 周迅然. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anıl Arda Ünlüer was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Anıl Arda Ünlüer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match Valverde United got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anıl Arda Ünlüer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 62nd play minutes Anıl Arda Ünlüer shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquim Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Anıl Arda Ünlüer made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquim Barbosa. That made the score 5-1 in the 75 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Teófilo Mota made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 82nd minute of play forced Valverde United's goalkeeper Joaquim Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Valverde United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 周迅然 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Valverde United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muzaffer Öğeturk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Barbosa skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anıl Arda Ünlüer struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valverde United. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Valverde United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
