After having played for 6 minutes, Zheng Feng Ling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 山东泰山队's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zheng Feng Ling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 龚浩云 having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by 山东泰山队's 徐榕然. But to his dismay, 徐榕然 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Arnold. In the 22nd match minute, 山东泰山队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 洪桑笑 to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of 山东泰山队 booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Abram Sarmiento put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of 龚浩云. 山东泰山队's 龚浩云 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the game 洪桑笑 made a throw-in which 徐榕然 played forward. 41 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Arnold. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexander Arnold kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. 龚浩云 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. 龚浩云 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 52nd minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zheng Feng Ling in the 53rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Arnold, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, 山东泰山队's Alexander Arnold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in 山东泰山队's zone, Abram Secada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 龚浩云 came out of the goal and Abram Secada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the 山东泰山队 defense, Abram Secada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 龚浩云. The 山东泰山队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 龚浩云 should have stopped the shot. 龚浩云 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 85th minute. 龚浩云 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Abram Secada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 龚浩云. The goal made the score 3-4. The supporters of Colombia booed when 山东泰山队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. 黄辰笑 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 龚浩云 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
