The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Comunardo Valente was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Adriano Carafa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adriano Carafa charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Carafa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chile made a substitution. Alberto Nores replaced Mariano Lacasa. The supporters of Chile booed when Velester Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Carafa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Adriano Carafa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Marchesani charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amos Marchesani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 鲁斐树 hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Chile's Xavier Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Velester Football Club could leave the field as winners, despite Chile having more of the ball for most of the match.
