Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Heleno Tutorskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Cristinel Cînu made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Cristinel Cînu in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivan Pacuraru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Niculae Curăreanu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristinel Cînu, made in the 31st minute of the game. Nechifor Potopea kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Pacuraru. After a rather tough play, Tutor Militari's Rareș Nicola got a free kick in the 36th minute. Anton Mascovescu made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Pacuraru got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Pacuraru was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Pacuraru went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niculae Curăreanu. Niculae Curăreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Pacuraru in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Tutor Militari getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rareș Nicola hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Niculae Curăreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Curăreanu. Tutor Militari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 78th minute, Luca Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Mascovescu got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rareș Nicola. Niculae Curăreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
