Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zigor Barroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play forced Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zigor Barroso in the 18th minute. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Anxelu Esteban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miks Lecis having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zigor Barroso got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigor Barroso. In the 41st minute Zigor Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miks Lecis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigor Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zigor Barroso's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Miks Lecis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Xuan Solera kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Argenis Coira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cometuétano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 90 played minutes Cometuétano got a freekick which was hit by Argenis Coira. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Miks Lecis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Patricio Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miks Lecis, passed just outside the right post. The Cometuétano manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Venezuela to win.
