Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severin Hussein in the 3rd minute of the match. Andreas Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 7th minute of play. Frode Rosenlund made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. In the 17th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes Gædd FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Christian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund did a great save. In the 25th minute, Severin Hussein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A hard shot 34 in the game by Severin Hussein from a close distance when the talented Lautaro Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Honduras's players were relieved. The throw-in from Geir-Inge Unhjem in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. After having played for 44 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Hussein in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severin Hussein was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frode Rosenlund in the 53 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Gædd FK's Magnus Gerhardsen got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to Gædd FK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Geir-Inge Unhjem hit a great ball. The Gædd FK fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Gædd FK's Severin Hussein looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Ocampo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Honduras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gædd FK:s goal. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Gædd FK. Severin Hussein stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lautaro Navarro. 3-1. Frode Rosenlund charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frode Rosenlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Frode Rosenlund, made in the 73rd minute of the game. The throw-in from Frode Rosenlund in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. A sloppy throw-in by Frode Rosenlund in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Christian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 81 played minutes, Gædd FK's Severin Hussein shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gædd FK reached it. When Gædd FK's Severin Hussein in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Frode Rosenlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Andreas Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After a rather tough play, Gædd FK's Magnus Gerhardsen got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gædd FK could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
