Tingara FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but André de Sousa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André de Sousa having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Tingara FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but André de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 15th minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André de Sousa having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Dias in the 22nd minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano in the 30th minute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 44th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but André de Sousa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tingara FC - DMZ's André de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Tingara FC - DMZ's goalkeeper André de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Dias in the 62nd minute of play. André de Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 68th minute. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, André de Sousa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André de Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tingara FC - DMZ made a substitution. Luís Maciel replaced José Ramos. A collision led to Tingara FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lorenz Palacio hit a great ball. After 85th play minutes Alberto Tafalla shot 1-3, a short shot which went by André de Sousa and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Tingara FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving André de Sousa. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. André de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tingara FC - DMZ throughout the match.
