If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 江苏扬州连福队's 高然川 got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 马烽迪 hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 程轩桦 to make the kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 程轩桦 in the 55th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 73rd minute of the match 尹松霆 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 尹松霆 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 75th minute, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, 秦霖星 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 高然川's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, 范国光 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 马骏鹰 made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which 马烽迪 however managed to control. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmundo Espiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 秦霖星. That made the score 0-3 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 江苏扬州连福队.
