Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslav Dzhangozov, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Damyan Petranov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 14 minutes of play, Tigers of Bistritsa's Asparuh Bubov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evstati Dokev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Penko Trenchev came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. A collision led to Tigers of Bistritsa getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Asparuh Bubov hit a great ball. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tigers of Bistritsa's Ivaylo Pelov got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 46th minute Radoslav Dzhangozov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Penko Trenchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Subin Panicherski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lautaro Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Tigers of Bistritsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivaylo Pelov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Penko Trenchev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigers of Bistritsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Penko Trenchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivaylo Pelov charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivaylo Pelov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivaylo Pelov kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tigers of Bistritsa's Radoslav Dzhangozov got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslav Dzhangozov in the 95th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Tigers of Bistritsa were the better team. Tigers of Bistritsa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
