Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Koby Wright took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Koby Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Madrid was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Iker Madrid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rohan Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Celestiales defense, Koby Wright kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Madrid. The Celestiales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Madrid should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Canada's zone, Santiago Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jax Williamson came out of the goal and Santiago Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Madrid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Luka Harris. Jax Williamson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Abreu went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Luka Harris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Luka Harris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Madrid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Canada's Jax Williamson got control of the ball when Santiago Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Santiago Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jax Williamson. The goal made the score 2-1. If Koby Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Dixon might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Madrid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Dixon ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Abreu came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Celestiales's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Dixon came free, but Iker Madrid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Santiago Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Millan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Dixon might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Madrid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Dixon ran back to his position shaking his head. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Abreu in the 58th minute of play. Canada's Koby Wright got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Dixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Madrid having to interfere. Celestiales made a substitution. Eustaquio Eudoxio replaced Santiago Abreu. 73 minutes into the match, Celestiales's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Dixon came free, but Iker Madrid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Canada's Jan Dixon, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Canada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 77th minute of play forced Celestiales's goalkeeper Iker Madrid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Mccarthy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
