Jeremias Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Şehzade Afgan could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 13th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Vedillo having to interfere. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A.M.P's Şehzade Afgan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play forced C.A.M.P's goalkeeper Jeremias Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dani Caceres hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jeremias Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 37th minute of play. Lucas Macias kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jun Osborne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.M.P's goalkeeper Jeremias Vedillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Şehzade Afgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jeremias Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. C.A.M.P's Ciriaco Mannuel was substituted for Adolfo Mendiko. C.A.M.P's Sebastian Ongile was substituted for Jiang Jun Le. C.A.M.P's Cleto Pasqual was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.M.P's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Vedillo came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Şehzade Afgan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Dani Caceres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Vedillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şehzade Afgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Dani Caceres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The C.A.M.P players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
