Dante Lacasa had great luck who in the 10thth minute grab hold of the ball when Leopoldo Isidor from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Görkem Akgöl in the 11th minute. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cornel Griceanu sent off a good shot on target. ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's Bono Chotov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. Bono Chotov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Bono Chotov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Görkem Akgöl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bono Chotov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. Bono Chotov had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The long shot by Joel Gaona in the 55th minute really tested Bono Chotov's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Görkem Akgöl in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bono Chotov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Görkem Akgöl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere.
