Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Pero Falla sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Pero Falla struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwin van der Sar was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pero Falla, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 37th play minute Pero Falla came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thiago Pliego. 1-2. In the 44th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. Pero Falla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pero Falla made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Pero Falla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Pero Falla came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Santos Sanz was substituted for Refugio Colsa. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Noel Guerrero replaced Gaspar Alborza. A sloppy throw-in by Xavier Figueroa in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Nalo Loaisa. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacorro Aguilar in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Pacorro Aguilar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Santos Sanz. But to his dismay, Santos Sanz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ from getting a goal against them. Pacorro Aguilar struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edwin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Pacorro Aguilar came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pacorro Aguilar went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edwin van der Sar. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin van der Sar should have stopped the shot. Pacorro Aguilar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
