In the 15th minute of the match sɴᴏᴏᴋᴇʀ ᴄʟᴜʙ sɪɴᴀɪᴀ 2017 got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristi Rogozea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Oblemenco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Oblemenco, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 60 minutes into the match, Cristi Rogozea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristi Rogozea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 64th minute, Marius Pascaru made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Oblemenco in the 67th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristi Rogozea in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aron Bleoancă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Rogozea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by sɴᴏᴏᴋᴇʀ ᴄʟᴜʙ sɪɴᴀɪᴀ 2017's Ion Oblemenco. But to his dismay, Ion Oblemenco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, sɴᴏᴏᴋᴇʀ ᴄʟᴜʙ sɪɴᴀɪᴀ 2017 could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
