Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Pankracy Podowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franciszek Marud came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, TeReFerere's Boguslaw Piglowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliseo Noboa scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franciszek Marud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, TeReFerere's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Franciszek Marud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franciszek Marud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TeReFerere's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Tanek Chuchro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boguslaw Piglowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boguslaw Piglowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the TeReFerere players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, TeReFerere's Boguslaw Piglowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 63 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franciszek Marud was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Piglowski in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Marud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Podowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Piglowski's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After 90 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Piglowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Costa Rica were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over TeReFerere's much stronger midfield.
