Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Christoffel Portmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffel Portmans saved SK Dreigoten from getting behind. Christoffel Portmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Christoffel Portmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Roger De Rijck got a free kick in the 25th minute. Christoffel Portmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Wirinckx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Michael Wirinckx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Wirinckx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Christoffel Portmans threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Tafalla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 55th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Wirinckx in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th minute Michael Wirinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save SK Dreigoten from getting a goal against them. The SK Dreigoten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The SK Dreigoten fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
