The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iker Tafalla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paraguay protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iker Tafalla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Sitko in the 91st minute of play. When Alan Campos fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Alan Campos a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Juliusz Popowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boreham Wood FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juliusz Popowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Sitko, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
