Joe Camp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Joe Camp went to the wrong direction when Daniel Zorita was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Felix Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Cats and dogs's Felix Emmanuel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-2 after 37 minutes of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franklin Boch hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Sam Yilmaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Gaétan Bouchard notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 72 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joe Camp could save by the left post. In the 78th match minute, Cats and dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Yilmaz to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joe Camp but with some difficulty. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Hamard went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. During the 87th minute of the match Téo Aguiar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Téo Aguiar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Franklin Boch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
