Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to FC Higher getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Herman Lekberg hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, FC Higher's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ludwig Holmberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wictor Morat. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when FC Higher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Hedkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Lekberg in the 17th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 18th minute of play. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after FC Higher's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Harry Bäckström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Herman Lekberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Herman Lekberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Higher were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Herman Lekberg took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Herman Lekberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th match minute, FC Higher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Lekberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Bäckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskil Dahlberg got free with Benito Sanz in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Wictor Morat made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wictor Morat made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ludwig Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Higher's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Holmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, FC Higher's Herman Lekberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 58th minute of the match Max Hedkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Wictor Morat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ludwig Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Higher booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Bertil Askstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Bäckström having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Wictor Morat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. FC Higher's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
