A beautiful save bye ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalie prevented a goal. Perry Barrios charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Bernardinho Romeo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ throughout the match.
