Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Percha in the 18th minute. Robert Percha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 36 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şemsettin Tuyuğ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, KOCAELİSPOR's Robert Percha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 47 minutes into the game, Boğaçhan Tanır threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Luz Tejedor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Percha in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Seyfullah Tuğsavan who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Seyfullah Tuğsavan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Zachary Bienienda got a free kick in the 71st minute. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Zachary Bienienda hit a great ball. Davut Erek kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Aşır Zabit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. Aşır Zabit might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aşır Zabit ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Aşır Zabit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KOCAELİSPOR were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
