Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ferdinand Şumălan made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 9 minutes, Emanuel Ocampo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Ocampo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Pamfil in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes in the game Dan Senin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Claudiu Negrițoiu. The supporters of Honduras booed when -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Lipan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Petru Pamfil came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Pamfil couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Ferdinand Şumălan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Ferdinand Şumălan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iulian Nisipeanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Honduras's Ivan Navarro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dan Senin, made in the 41st minute of the game. In the 46th match minute, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Carp to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dan Senin made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ferdinand Şumălan. 53 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iulian Nisipeanu. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 56th minute, Dan Senin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Lipan in the 59th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petru Pamfil took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Şumălan in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 68thth minute of the game Petru Pamfil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute of the match -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferdinand Şumălan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ferdinand Şumălan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Emanuel Ocampo put in a rough tackle. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Şumălan in the 76th minute of play.
